Equip Christian Teens to design and lead faith based programs for children with limited opportunities while developing themselves. Teens invest their time and talents in the children by matching their interests with one of the following days:

  • Faith Days (Mondays)
Each session has a theme where you will lead a small group of 2-4 children in interactive games, crafts, small groups, discussions, journaling and building the faith of the children. This winter Military is our theme with marching cadences etc... to help the children see their thought battle.
  • Homework & Tutoring (Tuesdays)
Reading, spelling, homework, laptop computers, Mind Benders featuring experiments & hands-on challenges! Help motivate the children to enjoy learning as you lead your small group of children.
  • Learning Exploration (Wednesdays)
Troy Clubs will do special hands on projects exploring educational concepts in ‘out of the box’ ways!  Time to help your small group with their homework!
  • Sports & Arts (Thursdays)
Teens will design sport, art, dancing, music or other activities they choose to teach basic skills to interested groups of children. Must create six-week program proposal or help co-lead with another teen leader. Proposal outline can be received at any time online and teen leader must complete outline by training to teach the children. Thursday commitment except Troy, which is held on Wednesdays.

Over 350 Teens work together to provide free challenging afterschool and summer activities for over 350 children 120 days each year. These teens have received… The Point of Light Award from President Bush Presidential Voluntary Action Award from President Clinton and numerous National & Local Awards for their outstanding service.

We are recruiting teens in grades 7-12 to serve.  The Clubhouse mission is to equip teens to design and run after school faith-based programs for elementary children with limited opportunities.  High school and junior high students work with second through sixth graders in tutoring, sports, arts and faith-based lessons.
