It’s not enough to just believe in Jesus’ claims with your head. If you read the Bible and recognize Jesus as the Son of God, a man who walked the earth, lived a perfect life, died, and came to life again, you must choose to cross a line of faith and receive him into your life. This is a huge decision, but you have to start by inviting him into you life and accepting the fact that he paid the bill you owe for your sin but could never pay yourself.

Jesus offers this as a totally free gift, and receiving it is as easy as saying, “Jesus, I have tried to do life my own way and I want to give everything I know myself to be to all I know of you. I want you to be my forgiver and my God."

One way or the other you will respond to God. You can choose to accept him or you can chose to reject him, and the gift will remain unopened and unenjoyed.
