Urban Plunge kicks off its fourth year serving the needs of the inner city Dayton, Ohio doing ministry in your own backyard. These overnight, five day mission trips are the basis of all students learning mission as a way of life, having a servant heart and mind. It is highly recommended that all students serve on Urban Plunge as a prerequisite for all other student ministry mission trips. It will be a requirement for future international trips.
Early registration and full payment by May 6 is available for only $79. After that date all trips are $99. Students are considered to be in the grade they are completing.
Please obtain a copy of the 2009 Urban Plunge permission form and the Urban Plunge registration form and return to The Avenue main office.

The Flipside is an authentic and laid-back gathering during the summer. Come and kick it with other high school students as we spend some time together looking at life from a different perspective.
The Avenue Stage Area @ 7:45 – 9 p.m.
A Taeyudo martial arts program teaching Japanese, Korean and Chinese techniques using a Korean base. You will learn self defense as well as how to build confidence and motivation in yourself. Teaching will be tied to learning with a faith message given each week. Classes are free and continuing students will have a one time cost of $150 for the uniform, pads and curriculum.
